What’s surprising is not everyone gets these chills. Only about half of people who listen to music actually get these.
Research has shown that this specific half of people who do actually get goosebumps when listening special connections in their brains that promote a more emotional experience.

Conclusion
Although not everyone feels chills when listening to different music, the people that do have been shown to have more emotion-related connections in their brains.
